I won tickets to a concert from a radio station, but won’t find out where they are until tomorrow, and the suspense is killing me. If it helps anyone in the DC area, it was 105.9 The Edge. Do radio stations typically give out good seats to people who win their radio contests?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no…it all depends on the radio station. I’ve seen it go both ways. On the other hand, if it’s a general admission show…in other words, a venue with no assigned seats…you just have to get there early to get a spot up at the stage. You can try to contact the radio station to find out for sure. Have fun!

need help identifying a rock song!?
the problem is, i enjoyed the music so much that i didn’t focus on the lyrics until the end! the lyrics i heard at the end, repeated, are “what … is … [it]” (or something that sounded like “it.”)
it was definitely an alternative song, kind of weird, led by a slap bass in the verses, then went into an increasingly long guitar riff.
it was on the radio, either 105.9 the edge or DC 101.1. i’m pretty positive it’s a modern song.
definitely 10 points to whoever can identify it using these crappy clues. i wish i remembered more of it.
