Would a cool mist humidifier help cool my room down?
During the summer we don’t put our air conditioning on. It gets very hot. Would a humidifier like this

A fan blowing over an ice chest with ice in it can cool you. A humidifier would make the room warmer. You can buy box fans from Wal Mart and Lowes for around $15.00. Some cold water to drink on the ice helps and some wet wash rags on the ice would be good for wiping your face neck and arms. A fan in front of a window helps.

Lost the sponge for my Vicks cool air humidifier?
I lost the sponge and my son is sick.. and at target they only have replacement filters for the holmes machine.. can i use that as a replcement since its just a sponge or is there really a difference.

Where can I buy a crane cow, frog, pig or panda 1 gallon humidifier?
I have been to Target, Walmart, Kids R’ Us and haven’t been able to find one. I am in the Boston area if that helps.

That is odd, are you sure they were just not out of stock at Target? I have seen several animal one there. When I was there last week I saw a frog, hello kitty and I think an elephant and pig. Try checking with their service department, like I said they might just be out of stock.
I have also seen at least the frog at wally world(walmart).
You might want to also try any home goods type store. If you have them in your area something like Bed Bath and Beyond or Home Goods.
I would try the Target service dept first though.
